Operation Warm

384 children are warmer in North Chicago this winter.
Our club partnered with the North Chicago Rotary Club to provide winter coats for school children in North Chicago, our neighbor to the north. Through our joint funding efforts, we raised over $4,500 and obtained two District Simplified Grants for an additional $2,000. The funds were used to purchase 384 brand, new winter coats from the Operation Warm organization. Our clubs participated in the distribution of the coats at the Forrestal, AJ Katzenmaier and Neal Schools, and the North Chicago Library.
