TODAY, we honor these outstanding young adults as COMMUNITY VOLUNTEERS OF THE YEAR. Their names were submitted by a dozen different schools and organizations throughout Lake Forest and Lake Bluff, and it is our privilege to host each student and family at today’s festivities. When the Rotary “test” of “Will it be beneficial to those concerned” is applied, these young people come shining through, as the volunteer work they accomplish goes far to make our communities better places to live. Thanks to our Chairman DAVE SCHAFER and his committee for bringing this event together.
